Abstract:

Objective

To systematically evaluate the efficacy of triamcinolone acetonide combined with sodium hyaluronan in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis.

Methods

According to Meta-analysis requirements, The Literature researchwas published both at demestic and abroad from database founded to March 2019. The retrieval was performed in CBM, CNKI, PubMed, Springer, Embase databases, Wanfang, Weipu, Cochrane Library, etc. The total effective rate and Lysholm knee joint score was systematicallyevaluated by using the software named Review Manager 5.3, Stata/MP15.1 and R-language.

Results

A total of 1,576 patients in 18 included studies were enrolled in the meta- analysis. Reference reports were finally included and a total of 1,576 subjects were enrolled. The total effective rate was shown in 16 included studies, 5 included studies showed Lysholm knee joint score. The total effective rate of triamcinolone acetonide combined with sodium hyaluronanin was higher than that of the sodium hyaluronanin (95% CI: 2.79-5.25, P<0.01), Lysholm knee joint score of triamcinolone acetonide combined with sodium hyaluronanin was superior to that of the sodium hyaluronanin (95% CI: 0.84-1.65, P<0.01), the difference was considered statistically significant.

Conclusions

In the treatment of knee osteoarthtitis, triamcinolone acetonide combined with sodium hyaluronanhashiger total effective rate and Lysholm knee joint score than sodium hyaluronan.
