Abstract:

Rotator cuff injury is a common clinical disease, which can cause shoulder pain and limited movement. Although various medical technologies are constantly developed, the failure rate of rotator cuff injury repair is still unsatisfactory. Therefore,it is necessary to seek new repair strategies to promote tendon healing, such as platelet-rich plasma, biological patches or scaffolds, mesenchymal stem cells and other emerging biological methods. This article reviews the research progress of these biological treatments in rotator cuff injury repair.

Key words: Rotator cuff injury, Biological therapy, Platelet-rich plasma
